Depending on the extent of decay, we offer a range of restorative options to help maintain a healthy mouth. For smaller cavities, we perform routine composite (tooth-colored) restorations. For teeth with more extensive decay, either porcelain inlays, onlays, or full-coverage porcelain crowns may be deemed necessary.
If any nerve is involved or a tooth infection is present, a root canal, which involves removing the nerve from the tooth canal, will have to be performed. Dr. Patel will thoroughly explain what is necessary and why during your initial and subsequent visits.
